Draw a face and add different hairstyles

Drawing a face is easy if you know the basics.

Instructions

The basic face

1. Draw a egg
2. Draw a vertical line in the middle of the egg
3. Draw a horizontal line 1/2 way down egg. Then draw two more horizontal lines just above and below a 1/3 of the way up the egg.
4. Add eyes at the 1/2 way line. Draw nose to touch the middle line and mouth across bottom line. Tada you are now a artist!

Facing another direction

By turning your face so it is not facing you, you can add depth to your character.

1. Draw a egg
2. Draw a vertical curved line down the egg curving the line towards the direction you want the face to point.
3. Draw a horizontal curved line 1/2 way down egg. Then draw two more horizontal lines just above and below a 1/3 of the way up the egg.
4. Add eyes at the 1/2 way line. Draw nose to touch the middle line and mouth across bottom line.

Tip: Things that are further away from you are small so try to draw anything on the furthest side of the face a little smaller.
