Make a mess with potatoe stamps

This project is an oldie but a goodie. If you have some cookie cutters or fondant cutters it makes the project a breeze to set up!

Materials

Potatoes

Knife

Paint

Cutters

Instructions

Cut potatoe in half

Press your cutter, or cut a shape into the potatoe

Cut around the shape to get rid of the outer part of the potatoe so the shape sticks out from the potatoe

Mix paint with a bit of water

Give your child the potatoe shapes and show them how to press into paint then press on to paper

Tips

Reuse the art as gift wrapping paper!
